Local Effort, Global Impact

One Woman’s Voice

Mahila and Haiti

Our involvement began when we received procurement requests from agencies in Haiti.  We have been supporting our partners who have arranged for warehouses, aircraft and other resources to move supplies that are being requested.

To address both immediate and longer term needs (as this recovery will go on long after the media has turned off their cameras), we have worked to build an incredible network of partners.   So now we will begin to tell our story and share the stories of our partners here.

Several organizations we are working with on the ground continue to have significant needs.  Despite previous logistics issues we are beginning to see an increase in the number of relief supplies being distributed.  In fact as I write this we are preparing to mobilize resources for the next shipment to Haiti.
